Funny how

Funny how there's always so much I want to say, but afraid to, because I'm afraid of offending someone, or hurting someone, or making someone angry. So many things I want to vent, but I can't. I really wish I didn't give a fuck and could write shit about anybody that I wanted to.

Life would be so much easier!

1 has spoken

I told myself I wouldn't post, but
what the hey...

Some people are very open, they
speak their mind because they're
assertive.

Some people are closed, they don't
want anyone to get too close.

Some people claim to be open
because they say what's on their
mind all the time.

Then there are people that speak
only when they need to speak and
nothing more.

The last two cases are the real
cases people ought to think about.
The person that speaks their mind
all the time is open, but lacks
control. The person that speaks
only when necessary to speak, is
not closed as some would think, but
is actually open. Not only is the
last person open, but exercises
good judgement and control.

If you are at conflict over whether
or not to say something, that is
good! It means you're thinking
before you speak. It's part of
growing up and being mature, making
good judgement. You can be
completely open and people will
know how you feel, but you would
be inconsiderate of how they may
feel.

I'm still learning all of this
myself. My dad is the last case.
He seldom speaks, but when he
does... you can't ignore what he
says. Your friend Katie, nailed
me on that one post I made. And
when I think about it, I am guilty
of what I've said above, not
thinking before I say something.
Though she failed to see that I
wasn't being serious about it, ah
well, guilty nonetheless.
