>< [ed]Passion is NOT something you find, it's something that finds you...

Passion is something you find, it's something that finds you. I think it's perfectly reasonable not to even have one until mid-life.
You can't honestly say that you've never had a passion. Ever since you were a kid you've had several passions, in fact. Computers, art, music, games, anything.
The beginning of our lives is a time in which we explore the world. How can you be passionate about something you haven't experienced yet?
Your passions are what interests you the most out of all your experiences. When I was a kid, I was passionate about computers. As I grew older, I started to develop passions for electronic music. In retrospect it seems like we don't have a passion because our interests keep changing as we grow and are opened to new experiences.
Just live your life day by day and don't even think about it. One day you'll find something and say "this is it."
Heheh... think of passions as like dating. Except passions don't dump you.

It's strange how much feedback I've gotten from this post. It seems that many people other than me are feeling as if they lack a passion. Why is it that a lot of times we feel all alone, when in truth the people around us are feeling the same way?
Is it simply human nature to believe that you're the only one in the universe to have the feelings that you do?

It took me 25 years to find my passion: ballroom dancing. It's taken me another 5 years to decide to dance competitively. Sometimes it takes time and patience to find the thing(s) you are passionate about. Don't despair. In the meantime, try out all kinds of new things with an open mind - it's really the only way to know where your real passions lie....and in the meantime, you can enjoy life and experiement with new things. Good luck!

Gee, it sounds like we're more or less stuck in the same situation -.- But hey, if you want, take a look into the book Demian by Hermann Hesse... it helped me figure out a lot about myself... maybe it'll do the same for you.
