Everyone has got to think...what would a world be without "thought"...it keeps us from going crazy...mindless fool, would be exactly that...mindless, soul-less, lifeless...what you need is a friend to think with...Maybe the best kind of friend is the kind you can
sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and
then walk away feeling like it was the best
conversation you've ever had.

Hey Kim,
I was browsing a forum that I frequent and I saw your picture being used in someone's sig.

I wasn't sure if you knew, and I thought it'd be weird if you didn't, so I'm just posting here to give you a heads up.

i understand. thinking too much brings me into depression and into so much pain.
i hate it, but yet, i too can't stop. that's what i do. like tonight at 2.25a in the morning, when fresh insomnia has hit me, i have nothing but my thoughts.

"Too much stress, stress reduction, chill out, let it go, detach – familiar phrases to all of us. Our world is fast, fun and exciting. It is also challenging, trying, demanding and frightening. These two sides of our lives produce stress, emotional reactions, anxiety, worry and anticipation. Our bodies and minds can tolerate only so much of any of these. After a while, each of us reaches a saturation point and the results become uncomfortable at best; for some it may be unbearable, even unendurable.
No magic pill is available to eliminate these feelings. The reality is, as the wise old man said, the answer is inside all of us. To manage these universal concerns we must go inside ourselves. Among the steps we can take is the learning and practicing of meditation."

if you've found a way to turn your thoughts off, please by all means let me know, because I could really use it right now.
It's hard for me to be me when I don't like the me that I am. If I could just not think about what it is that's keeping me up at 4:40am right now, I could sleep in peace and feel much better.
sorry kim i don't know what to say to offer some kind of consolation to you about your post. My head just wants to explode right now. I may not be experiencing what you're going through right now, but it probably has the same psychological effects on me as it does what your problems have on you.

you've created a monster of a thought process. No matter what you're doing, thinking or no, you're always going to be the way you are.. unless 'the way you are' is some constant that you forgot to declare in your variable declarations. In which case, I suggest #defines.
Bottom line: half of the crap that goes on inside your head is self-imposed anyway. So keep thinking, but realize that you're not broadcasting, so others are probably thinking something else entirely.

There's nothing wrong with the way you are.
Changes come and changes go and I'm confident as I'm sure everyone who reads your thoughts upon this page are that you shall lead them in time towards the place you desire.
Just don't deprive us of who you are now and your lovely thoughts.
